Following a <br />discussion on the matter, Commissioner Paschal moved to adopt Mr. <br />Crissman's recommendation to charge $3.40 per bill to collect taxes <br />for the Town of Broadway. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion. <br />Commissioner Hall proposed an amendment to the motion to give a <br />six-month notice to the Town of Broadway for Lee County to amend the <br />contract for Broadway's tax collecticns in the amount of $3.40 per <br />bill for fiscal year 1992-93. Commissioners Paschal and Cox agreed <br />to amend the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the amended motion had been adopted <br />unanimously. Chairman Stafford directed the County Manager to send <br />each Broadway Commissioner a copy of the letter notifying the Mayor <br />of Broadway of this action. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />Commissioner Hall moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />declared the public session adjourned. <br />A'a \ lMyra .
