MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />J <br />Tuesday, January 21, 1992 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, <br />January 21, 1992, in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of <br />the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North <br />Carolina. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. Cox, Bobby R. <br />Hall, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, <br />William C. Stafford, Jr., and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Stafford <br />declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of <br />business. <br />Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr., presided, and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Attorney K. R. Hoyle. <br />Chairman Stafford welcomed the new Finance Director, Mr. John <br />Crumpton. <br />Commissioner Hall moved to enter into an executive session to <br />discuss a land acquisition matter. Commissioner Cox seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Stafford, Reives, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and <br />the Board entered into executive session. Following the discussion <br />in executive session, Commissioner Hall moved that the executive <br />session be closed and the Board resume its public session. <br />Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Stafford, Reives, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and <br />the public session resumed. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of <br />1992, meeting.
