MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, February 17, 1992 <br />The adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 3:00 P.M. on <br />✓ Monday, February 17, 1992, in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County <br />Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, the <br />same being the time, date and place specified in the motion of <br />adjournment. Those present were Commissioners Albert L. Cox, Bobby <br />R. Hall, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and <br />William C. Stafford, Jr. Chairman Stafford declared a quorum present <br />and the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr., presided, and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to enter into executive session to <br />discuss a contractual matter. Commissioner Paschal seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and <br />the Board was in executive session. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker <br />arrived during executive session. Following the Board's discussion <br />in executive session, Commissioner Hall moved that the executive <br />session be closed and the public session resume. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and <br />the Board was in public session. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to adjourn the recessed meeting. <br />Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted, and <br />the meeting adjourned. <br />1 <br />
