noo 14 575 <br />List for the CDBG Project - Beulah Brown Road which is attached to <br />these minutes. Commissioner Cox moved the revised list be accepted <br />and Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. William Cowan, County Manager, asked the Board to approve a <br />bid for the water line extension for the Beulah Brown Road Community <br />Development Block Grant. The bids received were as follows: <br />Sandhills Utility - $79,826.25 <br />J. C. Johnson - $80,160.50 <br />Blue Construction - $80,640.00 <br />After a brief discussion Commissioner Matthews made a motion to <br />accept the low bid of $79,826.25 from Sandhills Utility. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Stafford appointed a committee composed of himself, <br />commissioner Reives, Commissioner Matthews and County Manager, <br />William Cowan, to serve on the Wicker School Committee. No date was <br />set for a meeting. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to enter into executive session to <br />discuss contractual and land acquisition matters. Commissioner Hall <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and <br />the Board was in executive session. Following the Board's disussion <br />in Executive Session, Commissioner Hall moved the executive session <br />be closed. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />3 <br />
