Preparation of construction drawmgs and technical specifications
2. Topo of the tennis court area for this phase
3. Demolition plan for the building and the existing courts
4. Stakeout of the cob and gutter, and courts
5. Preparation of a sod erosion plan
Total
These cost are based on the engineering fees listed below.
Engineer
$55.00
Draftsman(Tect"cian
$40.00
Secretarial
$25.00
Survey (Yew
$55.00
$2000.00
$1000.00
$500.00
$500.00
$500.00
$4500.00
In discussions with Don there are some things that could be handled by his department that would reduce
these fees. Most likely engineeringfees would nmbetween $3500 and $4000 depending onwhatyouwould
need from me. I would be happy to meet with you to discuss the particulars of this project and areas that
could save you money. In the past 1 have worked on other projects with the Kiwanis Park that have saved
the awity cost and feel that we could do the same here.
As you are aware, the condition of the existing courts is due to water and the age of the courts. I have had
considerable experience dealing with water type problems in the past and feel that my experience could
benefit you here. Don and 1 spent some time shooting levels and the results tend to make us think that it is a
ground water problem cempounded by ineffective surface drainage. My past experience with this site and
area (including complaints from adjacent owners) would be of benefit also. For your information there is an
original site plan on the drafting room wall of the City.
Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
t Gu z",
! /°G
