e o 14 523 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA J MONDAY, APRIL 20,1992 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, April 20, 1992, in the Commissioners Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. Cox, Bobby R. Hall, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, William C. Stafford, Jr., and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Stafford declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr., presided, and the following business was transacted: Commissioner Matthews introduced Rev. John Holder who delivered the invocation. The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the April 6, 1992, meeting. Commissioner Cox moved to adopt the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Reives presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Miss Valencia Burford of Lee County Senior High School for her service on the Youth Commission. The Chairman recognized Ms. Debbie Davidson, Transportation Coordinator from Senior Services, who introduced Mr. Rich Garrity, Project Manager with CGA Consulting Services, Inc., who went over in detail a plan to be used for consolidating transportation for Lee County Department of Social Services, Lee County Department for the Aging, Central Carolina Community College, Lee-Harnett Area Mental Health, Lee County Industries, Inc. and Center for Independent 1
