Fire District Budget Ordinance, Fiscal Year 2018-19 <br />Lee County, North Carolina <br />June 4, 2018 <br />Page 5 <br />SECTION 23. There is hereby levied a tax at the rate of TWELVE AND FIVE TENTHS <br />(12.5) cents per one hundred dollars ($100) valuation of property listed for taxes as of January 1, <br />2018, located within the Deep River Fire District for the raising of revenue for said district. <br />This rate is based on an estimated total valuation of $273,935,600 for purposes of taxation <br />and an estimated collection rate of 98.77%. <br />SECTION 24. There is hereby levied a tax at the rate of EIGHTEEN AND SEVEN <br />TENTHS (18.7) cents per one hundred dollars ($100) valuation of property listed for taxes as of <br />January 1, 2018, located within the Clearwater Fire Service District for the raising of revenue for <br />said district. <br />This rate is based on an estimated total valuation of $25,582,000 for purposes of taxation <br />and an estimated collection rate of 95.94%. <br />SECTION 25. Copies of the Budget Ordinance shall be furnished to the Budget Officer, <br />the Finance Officer, and the Tax Administrator for direction in carrying out their duties. <br />Commissioner Sloan moved to approve the Budget Ordinance, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, and Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the Budget Ordinance had passed. <br />to the Board <br />Amy M.
