The Planning Board <br />vote affirming their initial recommendation to deny the petition <br />follows: <br />YEA NAY <br />Tommy Brooks Fred Webb <br />Tommy Dalrymple <br />Lewis Lawrence <br />Mary Jo Parks <br />James Wicker <br />Lewis Lawrence, who was not present during the April public <br />hearing, stated that upon review of the minutes, a visit to the <br />property, and his study of the Lee County Land Development Plan, <br />he concurred with the Planning Board's recommendation to deny the <br />petition. Fred Webb dissented stating that since the petition is <br />for a conditional use, the property's zoning would remain <br />Residential Agricultural District if the project is not developed. <br />Our office has received a letter dated May 27, 1992 from Mr. <br />Lewis requesting that the Board of Commissioners either approve <br />his petition conditional upon his providing valid proof of <br />financing such as a letter of credit, or that they table the <br />matter until he can offer "proof of his financing" for the <br />project. A copy of this letter is in the Planning Department if <br />you wish to read it. <br />Please call me if you have questions concerning these agenda <br />items. <br />
