(6$8 <br />7:00 <br />a.m. <br />- 7:00 <br />p.m. <br />8:00 <br />a.m. <br />- 5:00 <br />p.m. <br />1:00 <br />p.m. <br />- 5:00 <br />p.m. <br />Chairman Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board also discussed empowering Animal Control Officers to <br />enforce County Littering Laws. After some discussion Commissioner <br />Cox made a motion to direct all county employees equipped with radio <br />communication in watching for "litter bugs" and illegal dumping. <br />Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board then considered a recommendation from the Parks and <br />Recreation Advisory commission to award an $11,625 matching grant to <br />the Kiwanis Club of Lee County. Don McLaughlin, Recreation Director <br />appeared before the Board and announced that only $4,345.00 was now <br />needed for the grant. After some discussion Commissioner Hall made a <br />motion to grant the reduced request and the balance carried forward. <br />Commissioner Hall's motion died for lack of a second. Commissioner <br />Reives made a motion to grant the reduced request but if requirements <br />for the balance of $7,280.00 were not received by June 15, 1992, the <br />money would be placed in the General Fund. After some discussion <br />commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Hall's motion died for lack of a second. <br />The Board considered Budget Amendment # 06/01/92/21 as presented <br />by John Crumpton, Finance Director. A copy of the budget amendment <br />is attached to these minutes, and by this reference, made a part <br />hereof. Commissioner Hall moved to adopt the budget amendment. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />5 <br />
