Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Absent: Matthews and Paschal Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion was adopted unanimously. The Board considered a voting delegate designation for the 1992 NCACC Annual Conference. Commissioner Hall nominated Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr. to represent Lee County. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Cox moved to go into Executive Session to make appointments for Boards and Commissions and discuss a land acquisition matter. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in executive session. Following the Board's discussion in executive session, commissioner Cox made a motion to come out of executive session. Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Board filed with the Clerk a list of persons discussed for appointments and directed that it remain on file as required by law. Commissioner Hall moved that the meeting be adjourned until 9:30 A.M. June 22, 1992, to reconvene in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina.
