Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered amendments to the County's health care cafeteria plan to include coverages presently available to employees. Mr. K.R. Hoyle answered questions of the Board and after some discussion Commissioner Hall moved the adoption of the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee that the Lee County Cafeteria Plan as adopted on November 5, 1984, and recorded in Minute Book 11 at pages 625 et sea. be amended as follows: (a) Delete paragraph 2.06 of Article II and insert in lieu thereof the following: 112.06 'Nontaxable Benefit' means (i) any benefit provided to a Participant under the County's Group Health Care, Disability, Cancer, Dental, Intensive Care and Accident Plans, which is not includible in the Participant's income; and (ii) any amount paid or incurred to purchase health care, disability, dental, intensive care and accident insurance for the Participant under the County's Health Care Program. Taxable Benefit means (i) case (b) Delete paragraph 3.01 of Article III and substitute in lieu thereof the following: 113.01 Each Employee of the county as of the effective date of the Plan shall automatically become a participant in the Plan on that date. Each other Employee shall become a participant in the Plan on the first day of the month following his 30 day eligibility period." (c) Delete paragraph 4.01 of Article IV and insert in lieu thereof the following: 114.01 A participant shall be entitled to elect to have up to $600.00 per month of his compensation used by the County to provide a Taxable Benefit or to purchase or provide a Nontaxable Benefit." (d) Delete paragraph 5.01 and insert in lieu thereof the following: "The Personnel Officer of the County is hereby designated as the Plan Administrator to serve until resignation or removal by the County Manager and appointment of a successor." (e) Delete the elections certificate attached to the original plan and as recorded in Minute Book II at page 628 and insert in lieu thereof the following form: 35
