C10 5 <br />EE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better 'Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 A <br />May 23, 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of <br />North Carolina, convened at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room'Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Richard B. Hayes, <br />Larry "Doc" Oldham, Charles T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T, Reives, Linda A. Shook, and <br />James K. Womack, Jr. <br />Members of the Sanford -Lee County Youth Council were present and assisted with the opening <br />of the meeting. Chairman Shook called themee order and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />• Youth Council member Logen Hodges delivered the <br />The pledge of allegianc,was recited. <br />Youth Council President `Taylor Waters gave a short presentation on the Youth Councils' <br />activities over the oastsvear - <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. With no changes made, <br />NNA, <br />Commissioner Parks moved to approve the Agenda as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />N1Ayayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />#' <5 Nay: None <br />the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commi`s'sione <br />items: <br />• <br />r Hayes moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />Minutes from the March 7, 2011 closed session, <br />Minutes from the May 2, 2011 regular meeting, <br />Tax Releases and Refunds for April 2011 (copy attached), <br />Renewal agreement with Southern Health Partners for Jail health services (copy <br />attached), <br />
