Such taxes are hereby declared to be a first <br />lien upon all real property of the respective taxpayers in the <br />County of Lee, and this order shall be a full and sufficient <br />authority to direct, require, and enable you to levy on and sell <br />any real or personal property of such taxpayers, for on account <br />thereof, in accordance with law. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution authorizing the sale of <br />certain personal property at public auction. Mr. William Cowan, <br />County Manager, answered questions of the Board. Commissioner <br />Paschal moved to adopt the following resolution and hold an absolute <br />sale: <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, <br />State of North Carolina, desires to dispose of certain surplus <br />property of the County, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />Commissioners that: <br />1. The following described personal property is hereby <br />declared to be surplus to the needs of the County: <br />6 <br />
