I nbU 14 8% D] MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA V TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1992 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 1992, in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Commissioners Albert L. Cox, Bobby R. Hall, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, William C. Stafford, Jr., and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Stafford declared a quorum present and the meeting open for transaction of business. Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr., presided and the following business was transacted: Rev. Beth Hackney, Associate Pastor of St. Luke United Methodist Church delivered the invocation. The following individuals will be responsible for delivering the invocation for the upcoming monthly meetings: County Attorney K.R. Hoyle October, 1992 Commissioner Ed Paschal November, 1992 Commissioner Gordon Wicker December, 1992 Commissioner Bert Matthews January, 1993 Commissioner William Stafford Jr. February, 1993 Commissioner Robert Reives March, 1993 Commissioner Jack Dossenbach, Jr. April, 1993 Commissioner Hubert Garner May, 1993 County Manager William Cowan June, 1993 The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the August 18, 24, and 26, 1992 meetings. After noting a correction, Commissioner Hall moved to adopt the minutes as amended as the official record of said meetings. Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. 1
