Bo~~ 14 .err a36 14 <br />WHEREAS, said bridge is the only camelback truss bridge in Lee <br />County and is one of two such bridges in Chatham County and is the <br />older one of the two bridges; and <br />WHEREAS, the lands herein described are areas of surplus <br />right-of-way which provide a means of access to the camelback truss <br />bridge (bridge #155) over Deep River on the Lee County side of said <br />river; and <br />WHEREAS, the Deep River Park Association is agreeable to the <br />inclusion of a conservation agreement in this deed and by the <br />acceptance of delivery of this deed and the recordation of same <br />assent the terms of such agreements as one set forth herein; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the <br />agreement to use the <br />connection with the hist <br />over Deep River near the <br />Carolina is conveying to <br />keeping with the terms <br />herein; and <br />considerations for this conveyance is the <br />property hereby conveyed to it only in <br />Dric camelback truss bridge (bridge #155) <br />Village of Cumnock which the State of North <br />it and for the benefit of the public in <br />of the conservation agreement set forth <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, North <br />Carolina has by unanimous action authorized the execution and <br />delivery of this deed of conveyance and conservation agreement, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the purposes to be <br />effectuated as hereinbefore set forth, and in further consideration <br />of the sum of one dollar, the receipt of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Grantor does remise, release and forever quitclaim <br />unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, but subject always <br />to the terms and conditions of the conservation agreement hereinafter <br />set forth, all of its right, title, claim or interest in and to the <br />following tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the Township <br />of West Sanford, County of Lee, State of North Carolina, and more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />Tract #1 <br />BEGINNING at a northwest property corner of the <br />undersigned on the south side of Deep River, said <br />corner marked by a spike placed in the bridge deck of <br />the old one-lane bridge; thence in a southeasterly <br />direction along and with the undersigned's northern <br />property line to the point of intersection with the <br />western right of way boundary of survey line L, said <br />point being 55 feet northwesterly of and normal to <br />survey line L; thence in a southwesterly direction 55 <br />feet northwesterly of and parallel to survey line L to <br />the point of intersection with the undersigned's <br />southern property line; thence in a northwesterly <br />direction along and with the undersigned's southern <br />property line to a southwest property line to a <br />
