003 <br />• Approval of Register of Deeds Redaction Project in the amount of $47,394.40 <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />• <br />Pursuant to N.C. General Statute 153A -52.1, Chairman Shook opeiiedi {the floor for Public <br />Comments. The following signed up to speak and were allowed 3 minutes f'ori comments; <br />1. Mr. Keith Clark, 212 Acorn Drive, Sanford <br />2. Dr. Bud Marchant, President of Central Carolinal College <br />ell <br />The Board considered a resolution opposing forced a� 'e ation' t hat had been deferred from the <br />February 7, 2011 meeting. Chairman Shook stated she Mayor Olive about said <br />resolution. Commissioner Reives moved to approve a Resolution by the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners Opposing Forced Annexation, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. A copy of the resolution will b �bFwarded to North Carolina <br />Representative Mike Stone and North Carolina Senator Bob Atwater for their support in the North <br />Carolina General Assembly. No action was taken. <br />The Board considered the FY 2011 -12 Community Transportation Grant for Senior Services, <br />Senior Services Director Debbie Davidson stated that a public hearing is required in order to submit <br />said application.
