<br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Tronsperletion received in July 2009 on allocation of $257,418 and in
<br />July 2010 on ollocction of $380,639, and - $98,462 needed to complete work in progress from the Highway Fund a total
<br />of $539,595 for secondary rood improvements in Lee Court A public .meeting secs held on April 04, 2011 in the Lee
<br />County Government Center in Sanford on the expenditures of said funds'.
<br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to utilize approximately $400 000 to construct roads down the priority list as for as passible,
<br />provided rights of way are available:

<br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to retain $39,595 of the total allocation for spot stabilization, paved road improvements,
<br />replace small bridges with pipe, or safely projects.
<br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to retain $100,000 of the total allocation for mad additions, property owner participation
<br />paving, volunteer fire departments, rescue squad driveways, old subdivision improvement program, overruns, county
<br />surveys and right of way acquisition.
<br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Deportment of Transportation received in July 2009 an allocation of $109,114 and in
<br />July 2010 on allocation of $550,385 from the North Carolina Highway Trust Fund and - $22,190 needed to complete
<br />work in progress, resulting in a total of $637,309 for Secondary Rood Improvements in Lee County for the forthcoming
<br />fiscal year. A public meeting was held on April 04, 2011 in the Lee County Government Center on the expenditures of
<br />said funds,
<br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to utilize approximately $500,000 to construct roads down the priority list as for as possible,
<br />provided rights of way are available:.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED that all of the above be carried out by the Deportment of Transportolion.
