eoo, 24 e „st149 <br />Systel at a minimum will provide: (a) preventive maintenance as recommended by the <br />manufacturer to include but not be limited to a complete inspection, lubrication, <br />cleaning, adjustments and replacement of any part(s) if necessary including drums; <br />(b) unscheduled repairs as requested by users with a maximum response time of four <br />hours (Systel will provide service during normal business hours, Monday through <br />Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, excluding Lee County and Systel holidays); <br />and (c) qualified service personnel to diagnose and correct malfunctions. All repair <br />work by Systel will be completed during normal working hours. <br />Systel normally provides service response time in four (4) hours or less from the time <br />the call is placed with Systel's Dispatch Department. Emergency service calls where <br />the equipment is totally inoperable are guaranteed to Lee County if they notify us at <br />the time of placing the call that emergency service is required and the machine is <br />totally inoperable (will not make a copy). If for any reason Systel fails to respond to <br />emergency service calls within four (4) working hours, then Lee County shall be <br />entitled to a twenty -five dollar ($25.00) credit to their account. Lee County must <br />notify the technician upon their arrival to receive credit under this provision. No <br />credits will be issued after the date of any call for which credit is claimed. <br />Systel provides Lee County a total satisfaction guarantee as long as all machines are <br />continuously under this Agreement. At any time Lee County is not totally satisfied <br />with their equipment, it may be exchanged for similar equipment of equivalent age, <br />condition, and volume. Type of equipment substituted will be at the discretion of <br />Systel <br />This Agreement does not cover physical damage from misuse, abuse, natural <br />disasters, fire, theft, water or spillage of any liquid or from damage of clips, staples, <br />or other foreign objects. <br />VIII. Machine Performance Systel will make adjustments and repairs necessary to keep <br />equipment in excellent working order, including such adjustments or repairs required <br />during initial installation. All equipment furnished under this contract shall be <br />required to operate at or above manufacturer's specifications and produce acceptable <br />quality at a 95% or better effectiveness level during any month within the 5 -year <br />contract period. If a unit fails to meet these performance standards, Systel shall <br />replace it with a machine that meets or exceeds the specifications listed in this <br />Request for Proposals at no extra cost. All machines will be monitored for <br />maintenance (downtime) as well. If equipment develops a trend of excessive service <br />calls, Lee County reserves the right to determine if the equipment fails to meet the up <br />time requirements. If the equipment fails to meet these requirements, Systel shall <br />replace the equipment with a new machine that meets at least the original operational <br />standards and uptime requirements within 3 working days after notification by Lee <br />County.
