After much discussion Commissioner <br />Hall moved to table the motion until more information could be <br />brought back before the Board at the November 16, 1992, meeting. <br />Commissioner Reives second the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered tax releases and refunds for September, <br />1992, a copy of which is attached to these minutes, and upon this <br />reference, made a part hereof. Mr. Nathan Crissman answered <br />questions of the Board. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the tax <br />releases and refunds. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the Ft. Bragg/Pope Air Force Base Regional <br />Land Use Bylaws, a copy of which is attached to these minutes, and <br />upon this reference, made a part hereof. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, <br />Planning Director appeared before the Board and answered questions. <br />After some discussion Commissioner Matthews moved to adopt the Ft. <br />Bragg/Pope Air Force Base Regional Land Use Bylaws and have Mr. Roy <br />Cox, First Alternate on the Planning Board represent Lee County on <br />this committee, and let the Planning Director decide on how Mr. Cox <br />is to be reimbursed for meetings, expenses, etc. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered zoning recommendations of the Planning <br />Board. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Director of Planning presented several <br />recommendations from the Planning Board. He stated the Planning <br />Board denied the request of Ida Geywitz to rezone 2.07 acres of land <br />on the eastern side of Cumnock Road. Commissioner Cox moved to <br />accept the Planning Board's recommendation.
