B'[1QK ~~,w ~i <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING <br />MAP OF BOUNDARY LINE <br />BETWEEN <br />LEE COUNTY AND HARNETT COUNTY <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, Harnett County and Lee County were uncertain as to the <br />exact locations of the boundary between them; and <br />WHEREAS, they employed Thomas J. Matthews, RLS, to survey, mark, <br />and map said boundary; and <br />WHEREAS, said surveyor has completed his work and submitted to <br />each Board of Commissioners a map entitled "Map of Boundary Line <br />Between Lee County and Harnett County, North Carolina, Scale 1" _ <br />5,0001, Date Completed: July - September, 1992, Job No. 0570A"; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the Board of Commissioners for <br />Lee County as follows: <br />1. That the map prepared by Thomas J. Matthews, RLS, <br />identified as above, showing the boundary line between Lee County and <br />Harnett County is hereby approved and ratified. <br />2. That the date of ratification and book and page where <br />this resolution is recorded in the minutes of this body be noted on <br />said map. <br />3. Upon ratification by the Board of Commissioners for <br />Harnett County that the date and book and page of the recordation of <br />this resolution of ratification in the minutes of that body be noted <br />on said map. <br />4. Thereafter that the map be recorded in the office of <br />the Register of Deeds for both Harnett and Lee Counties and also in <br />the office of the Secretary of State, as provided for in North <br />Carolina General Statute 153A-18. <br />Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />5 <br />
