9 <br />LDOK 1= F~,H <br />meeting. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion and and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Bob Joyce, Administrative Services Director gave the Board a <br />self evaluation on the recent compliance reports conducted by County <br />staff relating to buildings owned by the County. The staff had <br />estimated the cost of repairs and/or renovations to each county <br />building in order to comply with the American's with Disabilities Act <br />(ADA). <br />The Board considered a request from Mr. Randell Woodruff, Unit <br />Supervisor of the Adult Probation and Parole Office requesting five <br />additional offices for his office's needs in the renovated Lee County <br />Courthouse. Mr. Cowan was instructed by the Board to do further <br />research and work with Mr. Woodruff and the architect concerning <br />minor adjustments to the proposed floor plan. Mr. Cowan is to keep <br />the Board posted on his findings. No action was taken on this <br />request. <br />The Board considered a resolution releasing Lee County's share <br />($2,754.75) of the economic development funds from the State Budget <br />office to the Triangle J Council of Governments. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Reives moved to approve the attached <br />resolution, attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an affiliate membership with the Triangle J <br />Council of Governments. Through this association the County's voice <br />can be more directly a part of the policy development and <br />deliberations about issues affecting the residents of our region, <br />beyond the county's current representation on the EMS and Aging <br />Advisory Councils. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the <br />affiliate membership with the Triangle J Council of Governments. <br />Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />9 <br />7 <br />
