Boos 1 t ?r,~~ 9'i~~ 7 <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution and agreement for deposit <br />accounts, bank and corporate services for Southern National Bank <br />which would allow John Crumpton, Finance Director; William Cowan, <br />County Manager; and Martha Wicker, Accounting Finance specialist <br />names to be on all signature cards. Commissioner Garner moved to <br />accept the resolution and agreement. Commissioner Wicker seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution to release control of the <br />Third Street Park property to the City of Sanford. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Paschal moved to accept the following <br />resolution and give back as surplus property: <br />RESOLUTION RELINQUISHING CONTROL OF <br />THIRD STREET PARK TO THE <br />CITY OF SANFORD <br />WHEREAS, the County instituted a county-wide parks and <br />recreation program on July 1, 1972; and <br />WHEREAS, at that time the City turned over the management and <br />maintenance of Third Street Park to the County along with other <br />properties; and <br />WHEREAS, the Third Street Park property is no longer needed by <br />the County for its parks and recreation program; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved, by the Board of Commissioners <br />for Lee County as follows: <br />1. The Third Street Park is declared to be surplus to the needs <br />of Lee County. <br />2. That the control, management, and maintenance of Third <br />Street Park is returned to the City of Sanford. <br />7 <br />17 <br />
