E. Consideration of Courthouse Complex Renovations Capital Project Budget <br /> Ordinance. <br /> Earlier this year, the Board of Commissioners approved the issuance of$3,000,000 of <br /> Limited Obligation Bonds to fund renovations of the courthouse complex. To move ahead <br /> with these projects, a capital project budget ordinance approval is needed. Commissioner <br /> Sharpe moved to approve the Courthouse Complex Renovations Capital Project Budget <br /> Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br /> hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br /> Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br /> Nay: None <br /> The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br /> F. Consideration of Park Improvement Project Budget Ordinance <br /> Earlier this fiscal year, the Board of Commissioners approved the issuance of <br /> $2,000,000 of Limited Obligation Bonds to fund park improvements at the following parks: <br /> Kiwanis Children's Park, Horton Park, Temple Park, OT Sloan Park, and Lett Park. To <br /> move ahead with these projects, a capital project budget ordinance is needed. <br /> Commissioner Oldham moved to approved the Park Improvement Capital Project Budget <br /> Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br /> hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br /> Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br /> Nay: None <br /> The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br /> G. Utility Easement for Duke Energy at the WB Wicker School <br /> Duke Energy Progress has requested a utility easement at the WB Wicker Elementary <br /> School in order to provide electrical services to the school. The Lee County Board of <br /> Education has approved and signed the easement and has requested the approval and <br /> execution by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Sharpe moved to approve the <br /> utility easement and authorize the Chair to sign any relevant paperwork, a copy of which is <br /> attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the <br /> results were as follows: <br /> Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br /> Nay: None <br /> The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br /> H. Acceptance of Donation of Property from the City of Sanford Located at Kiwanis <br /> Children's Park <br /> In preparation for park renovations at Kiwanis Children's Park, the City of Sanford <br /> voted to donate a parcel of property adjoining the park property.
