G04 <br />After much discussion, the County Manager was instructed to send the City Manager a letter <br />advising the County is reviewing all joint contracts /agreements with the City in hopes to have issues <br />resolved by January 1, 2012, with Animal Control being the first major agreement to be discussed. <br />After further discussion of various matters, Commissioner Womack moved to recess the budget <br />work session until 3 p.m. on this date. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None l <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and \the budget meeting <br />recessed at 11:45 a.m. <br />At 3 p.m. the recessed budget work session was called to order by Chairman Shook in the <br />Wicker Room, Lee County Government Center, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners,present were <br />Charles T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, Linda A /Shook, and James K. Womack, Jr. <br />Staff attending was County Manager John Crumpton, Assistant�ounty) Manager /Finance Director Lisa <br />Minter, County Attorney K. R. Hoyle, Deputy Attorney DaledTalbert, and - Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. <br />Lee. <br />Staff from the Sheriff's Department was in attendance, including. Sheriff Tracy Carter, Chief <br />Deputy Randall Butler, Chief Jailer Kent Everett and Lt. David Preva'tte. Lt. Prevatte presented a <br />power -point presentation outlining the makeup of.the department, crime reporting data for 2009 -2010, <br />department accomplishments, goals, and FY\2011�12ebu requests.
