1 <br />A B00';, 17 PACE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, <br />JANUARY <br />4, <br />1993 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, <br />January 4, 1993, in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present <br />were Commissioners John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha <br />L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; Robert T. Reives; and Gordon A. <br />Wicker. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr., was absent due to <br />being out of town. Vice Chairman Wicker declared a quorum present <br />and the meeting open for transaction of business. <br />Vice Chairman Wicker presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Commissioner Bertha Matthews delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the December 21 <br />and 22, 1992 meetings. After noting a change, Commissioner Matthews <br />moved to adopt the minutes as the official record of said meetings. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. William Cowan, County Manager showed the Board a video of <br />still photographs taken on a daily basis of the current <br />courthouse/Law Enforcement project by Allen Capps, Clerk of the <br />Works. <br />1 <br />
