Bids had been received on the project and the <br />low bidder was J. C. Johnson Construction Company with a bid of <br />$128,350.00. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request to support the granting of an <br />encroachment easement to Donald and David Simpson along Center Church <br />Road for the purpose of installing a 3" sewer line. David Simpson <br />appeared before the Board and explained he wants to pump the sewage <br />from the Shopping Center at the intersection of Center Church Road <br />and Jefferson Davis Highway to a suitable soil area located down the <br />road (on Center Church Road) and treat the sewage. <br />Shop Owner Brenda Davis and Donald Simpson spoke in favor of the <br />request. <br />021 <br />7 <br />
