15 "4'~F 65 <br />Administration (EDA) - Public Works Grant in the amount of $123,332 <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the use of EDA funds requires a non-federal local <br />match; and <br />WHEREAS, that Lee County must provide interim financing for the <br />EDA Project. <br />NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />THAT: <br />1. No other federal funds will be used to match funds received from <br />the Economic Development Administration. <br />2. That Lee County commits $123,332 in unemcumbered County general <br />funds for this project. <br />3. Lee County will provide up to $12,333 for required interim <br />financing. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolutions were adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Preliminary Assessment Resolution to <br />establish a special assessment district along Southern Road, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Administrative Services Director Bob Joyce appeared <br />before the Board and answered questions. After some discussion <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the Preliminary Assessment <br />Resolution and to schedule a public hearing for April 19, 1993, at <br />7:00 P.M. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Youth Services Program Agreement revision <br />for $3,000.00 to refurbish a van, a copy of which is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof.
