Commissioner <br />Reives moved to approve the agenda as printed and asked that an item <br />be placed on the agenda for discussion under Unfinished Business <br />considering a "motion to revive consideration". Commissioner Matthews asked that a <br />45-day extension be given to John Loving & Associates so other <br />options can be studied. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a motion to revive consideration of a <br />request made by Mr. Donald Simpson from the last meeting to support <br />the granting of an encroachment easement along Center Church Road for <br />the purpose of installing a 3" sewer line. Mr. Eugene Hines, Health <br />Director, and James Shakleton, Environmental Health Supervisor, <br />appeared before the Board and answered questions. Mrs. Bea Gaster, <br />Marguerite Coggins Ferguson, and Herman Logan spoke in opposition to <br />the request. Commissioner Reives moved to endorse the granting of an <br />encroachment along Center Church Road. After further discussion, <br />Commissioner Garner amended the motion that the encroachment along <br />Center Church Road be granted but within 60 days, if and when the <br />City of Sanford installed a city sewage line in the area, the <br />property owners must hook into the city sewage system.
