Upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board recessed for a short time while the Planning Board <br />deliberated on one of the rezoning requests. Upon returning from the <br />short recess, with all members present, the Planning Board notified <br />the Board of Commissioners they had a recommendation on the rezoning <br />request for Tom Vanderiet of Factory Showcase Homes. At this time, <br />Commissioner Dossenbach asked to abstain from voting due to a <br />personal conflict. Commissioner Matthews moved to allow Commissioner <br />Dossenbach to abstain from voting. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />James Wicker, Chairman of the Lee County Planning Board reported <br />to the Board of Commissioners that the Planning Board unanimously <br />recommended approval of the petition by Tom Vanderiet for Factory <br />Showcase Homes to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to <br />Highway Commercial Conditional Use District 3.28 acres of land on the <br />eastern side of Jefferson Davis Highway. Commissioner Paschal moved <br />to accept the Planning Board's recommendation. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to accept a Resolution establishing <br />uniform standards under which claims or civil judgments sought or <br />entered against County Officers and employees shall be paid, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof.
