Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the Board was in executive session. Following the Board's discussion <br />in executive session, commissioner Paschal moved the executive <br />session be closed. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Stafford moved to recess the meeting for dinner and to <br />reconvene at 7:00 P.M. for the scheduled public hearings. Upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the meeting recessed in keeping with the motion. <br />The meeting reconvened at 7:00 P.M. in the Multipurpose Room at <br />the Lee County Enrichment Center, 1615 South Third Street, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, with Commissioners Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, <br />Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker in attendance. Chairman William <br />C. Stafford, Jr., called the meeting to order and presided. The <br />following business was transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that the Board hold a public hearing <br />on the Southern Road water line extension. Upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Interim Planning Director Bob Joyce appeared before the Board <br />and gave an update on the Southern Road water situation. <br />Buck Harris of 1914 Larkspur Drive, property owner on Southern <br />Road, was the spokesperson for the residents and spoke in favor of <br />the water line extension. <br />22 <br />3 <br />
