no 2 i, s 216 <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County, <br />North Carolina as follows: <br />A. That the rate schedule for all residential customers of the <br />Lee County Water System shall be a graduated rate based upon quantity <br />used per month in terms of 1,000 gallon units or fraction thereof, <br />with a minimum charge of $9.00 for any amount up to 2,500 gallons as <br />follows: <br />Gallons Used <br />Per Month <br />Rate Per <br />1,000 Gallons <br />Minimum Bill (0 - 2,500) <br />2,501 - 6,000 <br />6,001 - 15,000 <br />15,001 - 40,000 <br />Over 40,000 <br />$9.00 <br />3.00 <br />2.60 <br />2.20 <br />B. That the rate schedule for all commercial customers of the <br />Lee County Water System shall.be a flat rate based upon the total <br />2,500 gallons per month as follows: <br />Gallons Used Rate Per <br />Per Month 1.000 Gallons <br />Minimum Bill (0 - 2,500) $12.00 <br />0 - 19,499,999 3.00 <br />19,500,000 and over 2.23 <br />PROVIDED, however, that all customers who average 650,000 per <br />day on an annual basis shall pay for water at the rate of $2.23 per <br />1,000 gallons and their account shall be adjusted accordingly. <br />C. The supervisor of the Lee County Water System shall have <br />the authority to determine and set the proper tap sizes for all <br />connections to the Lee County Water System and the rate schedule for <br />tap-on fees shall be as follows: <br />1. Residential taps no larger $650.00 <br />than 3/4 inch <br />2. All other taps Cost or $650.00 <br />whichever is larger <br />
