20 <br />ao~x 15_ oA~F iD6 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />APRIL 19, 1993 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, <br />April 19, 1993, in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present <br />were Commissioners John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha <br />J L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; Robert T. Reives; William C. <br />Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairman Stafford presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Commissioner Dossenbach delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the April 1, <br />1993, regular meeting. After noting a correction, Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said <br />meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Reives asked that a staff report be placed under unfinished business. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the agenda as printed, adding <br />the staff report. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Architect Ed Fitchett and Clerk of the Works Allen Capps gave <br />the Board a progress report on the Courthouse/Jail/Law Enforcement <br />Center Project. <br />1 <br />
