0 aooh 15 rs~ 1~5 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the renewal contract for Nova <br />Transport to operate a non-emergency and convalescent ambulance <br />service in Lee County, a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Garner moved <br />to approve the renewal contract for Nova Transport to operate a <br />non-emergency and convalescent ambulance service in Lee County. Upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval for <br />franchise to construct, operate and <br />system to serve Lee County, a copy of <br />minutes and by this reference made a <br />Matthews moved to approve the contract <br />for a cablevision franchise in Lee Cou <br />were as follows: <br />Carolina Cable Partners for a <br />maintain a cable television <br />which is attached to these <br />part hereof. R. Hoyle gave the Board a report on petition <br />requirements from a survey he had conducted with seven (7) <br />surrounding counties. After some discussion Commissioner Garner <br />moved that a resolution be adopted stating that individuals signing <br />petitions coming before the Board must be eighteen (18) years of age <br />or older, the person signing petition must have been a resident of <br />Lee County for at least thirty (30) days, and that the current <br />mailing address supplied and telephone number be stated. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle gave the Board a report on the <br />Sanford-Lee County Airport Authority and answered questions of the <br />Board. Minutes from the Airport Authority meetings will be kept on <br />file in the Clerks office and Lee County Public Library. <br />008 <br />2 <br />
