Upon a vote of committee members, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Reives and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Building, Grounds & Utilities Committee reviewed the draft <br />of the minutes of the May 20, 1993, meeting. Commissioner Matthews, <br />Chairperson of the Committee, moved to adopt the minutes as the <br />official record of said meeting. Upon a vote of committee members, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews and Paschal <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the regular May <br />17, 1993, meeting. Commissioner Wicker moved to approve the minutes <br />as the official record of said meeting. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Stafford asked that members of the audience be allowed to speak in <br />reference to the Arts Center when the item was discussed. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the agenda as printed with the <br />above change. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations on the Lee County Arts <br />Center. Commissioner Matthews gave a report on the last Building, <br />Grounds & Utilities Committee meeting and their recommendations for <br />this project. The following individuals spoke in favor of renovating <br />the Arts Center: Mary Lou Abele, Guy Boger, Ron Williams, Bill <br />Freeman, Alice Ann Ford and Tommy Mann, Sr. After some discussion <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to instruct Administrative Services <br />003 <br />2 <br />
