odd 15 PR,r-E 193 <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Tax Releases and Refunds for April, 1993. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to accept the Tax Releases and Refunds for <br />April, 1993, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board discussed dates for a budget work session. After some <br />discussion it was agreed to hold a budget work session with members <br />of the Building, Grounds & Utilities Committee members and the <br />Chairman of the Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, June 16, 1993, <br />at 3:30 P.M. <br />The Board discussed the purchase of a surplus truck from the <br />City of Sanford for the Humane Society. Commissioner Dossenbach <br />moved to authorize the County Manager to purchase a surplus pickup <br />truck from the City of Sanford for $1,700.00 for the Humane Society. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to hold a joint meeting with the Lee <br />County Board of Education and Lee County Board of Commissioners at <br />the next regular Board of Commissioners meeting on June 21, 1993, at <br />4:00 P.M. to discuss budget matters. The Board of Commissioners <br />meeting was rescheduled to begin at 3:00 P.M. instead of 4:00 P.M. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />Commissioner Garner moved to adjourn the meeting.
