After much discussion commissioner Dossenbach moved to terminate the contract with Skip Green & Associates and complete the grant by using county staff. After further discussion Commissioner Reives made a substitute motion to table the matter until funding for the project can be obtained. Upon a vote of the substitute motion the results were as follows: Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford Nay: Dossenbach and Wicker The Chairman ruled the motion carried with a five to two vote. Commissioner Reives made a further motion to request that the Economic Development Coordinator Bob Joyce provide a work schedule and funding schedule for the remaining work to be completed on the project to be presented at the next meeting in July, invite Skip Green to attend the July meeting, provide the Board with information as to who will actually do the work and to proceed with the project. The Board considered a date and time for a public hearing to consider eliminating Article XIII, Administrative and Legal Provisions, Section 3, Temporary Occupancy Permit for Class B and Class C Manufactured Homes from the Lee County Zoning Ordinance. After some discussion commissioner Dossenbach moved to set the public hearing for 7:00 P.M. on July 15, 1993.
