Finance <br />Director John Crumpton discussed with the Board the various bids. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to accept low bids for Central Office <br />Supplies from Tri-County Business Machines, Carolina Data Office <br />Supply, Raleigh Office Supply, Phillips Office Supply and Forms and <br />Supply. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been approved unanimously. <br />The Board considered an amendment to the contract for Adult <br />Probation revisions at the Courthouse. County Manager William Cowan <br />answered questions of the Board. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to <br />approve the amendment to the contract for Adult Probation revisions <br />at the Courthouse with Stuart-Fitchett Architects, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been approved unanimously. <br />The Board considered an amendment to the May 5, 1993 minutes in <br />reference to a Zoning ordinance for Lee County. County Attorney K. <br />R. Hoyle discussed with the Board that on page 10 of the May 5, 1993 <br />minutes, the following statement be added at the bottom of the page, <br />"A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THESE MINUTES AND BY THIS REFERENCE <br />MADE A PART HEREOF" and sent to the Register of Deeds to be added in <br />the Lee County Ordinance Book. A copy of the requested change is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the above change. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been approved unanimously. <br />The Board considered awarding the bid for the Operation Services <br />Center. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle recommended the bid be awarded <br />to John William Brown, Co, Inc. Commissioner Garner moved for the <br />Chairman and Clerk to execute the contract to John William Brown, <br />Co., Inc. for the Operation Services Center Project, a copy of which <br />is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof.
