0 0 <br />boos 15 Pr,sc 348 <br />Section 3.5 Audit. Society agrees that County may <br />audit its books biannually utilizing County personnel or an <br />accounting firm employed by the County. Society agrees to <br />furnish space for such auditors and to cooperate with them by <br />furnishing the books, records and documents necessary for such <br />audit. <br />Section 3.6 Additional Reports. Society agrees to <br />furnish written reports on its operations and financial status <br />at reasonable intervals as may be requested by the County <br />Manager, but no more frequently than monthly. <br />Section 3.7 Liaison Person. The county commissioner <br />who serves on the Lee County Health Board shall be the liaison <br />person for all communication between the County and the Society. <br />ARTICLE IV <br />Exclusive Arrangement <br />Section 4.1 Exclusive Arrangement. Society agrees <br />that it will not provide similar services for any other <br />governmental entity during the period while this agreement is in <br />effect without first obtaining the written permission of the <br />County. <br />Section 4.2 Exclusive Rights. The County agrees that <br />the Society is to have exclusive rights to animals seized by the <br />Lee County Animal Control Officer in the performance of his <br />duties, delivered to the animal shelter and accepted by the <br />Society. <br />ARTICLE V <br />Section 5.1 Term. This agreement is for the period <br />from July 1, 1993, to June 30, 1994. <br />Section 5.2 Termination. Either party may terminate <br />this agreement without any further liability to the other party, <br />by giving such other party ninety (90) days written notice. <br />ARTICLE VI <br />Price for Service <br />Section 6.1 Appropriation for Fiscal Year. The <br />County has appropriated the sum of $ 57,779 for such service <br />for July 1, 1993, to June 30, 1994. Said sum is to be paid in <br />monthly increments of $ 4,814.92 , which shall be paid by the <br />10th day of each month to compensate the Society for services <br />rendered during that month. The initial payment will be made <br />July 10, 1993. <br />13 <br />
