Bob!! 15 Ftcr 368 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1993 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, <br />September 20, 1993, in the Commissioner's Room, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present <br />were Commissioners John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha <br />L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; Robert T. Reives; William C. <br />Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairman Stafford presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Commissioner Gordon Wicker delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the special <br />September 3, 1993, Board of Commissioners meeting; August 18, 1993, <br />Building, Grounds and Utilities Committee meeting; and the September <br />10, 1993, special called Finance Committee meeting. Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to approve all minutes as the official record of said <br />meetings. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Matthews asked that a matter concerning a matching grant from the <br />Arts Center Renovation Committee be added under unfinished business. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the agenda as printed with the <br />above addition. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the CDBG project concerning Mr. J. R. <br />Williams. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle updated the Board on the <br />1 <br />
