W 15 POrr 511 The Board considered a request for proposal of a state-required local water supply plan. Interim Planning Director Bob Joyce told the Board the following bids were received for the services: Hobbs, Upchurch & Associates, P.A. $3,500 Dixon-Gibson Engineering Associates $2,680 McKim & Creed $3,300 Ken Bright Associates $3,000 - 5,000 John R. McAdams $4,000 Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the low bid of $2,680 to Dixon-Gibson Engineering Associates. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Wicker Nay: None The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered scheduling a public hearing to consider Adoption of Watershed Protection Ordinance for Lee County. Interim Planning Director Bob Joyce answered questions of the Board. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to schedule a public hearing to consider Adoption of Watershed Protection Ordinance for Lee County at the next meeting on December 6, 1993, at 5:00 P.M. Commissioner Garner moved to approve an agreement for engineering services with Hobbs, Upchurch & Assocites for Phase I of a proposed Lee County water system for $4,000.00, upon completion of the Preliminary Engineering Report and acceptance of same by the Owner and Farmers Home Administration, with the remaining balance of the $6,000.00 due upon funding commitment by Farmers Home Administration. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Wicker Nay: None The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. 4
