0 BOOS r15 dP-fr 5. x'09 <br />Nay: Dossenbach and Stafford <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to <br />two vote. <br />The Board considered an amendment to the Budget Ordinance for <br />scrap tire fees. Public Works Director Bobby Johnson was present and <br />explained to the Board the reason for this amendment. Commissioner <br />Stafford moved to accept the amendment to the Budget Ordinance for <br />scrap tire fees, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 12/06/93/08. County <br />Manager William Cowan explained the various budget amendments to the <br />Board. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve budget amendment # <br />12/06/93/08, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from Central Carolina Community <br />College to hire a designer for a new classroom building approved in <br />the November 2, 1993, statewide Bond Referendum. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Reives moved to authorize Central Carolina <br />Community College officials to use funds on hand to hire a designer <br />for the classroom building at an estimated cost of the designer fee <br />not to exceed $150,000.00. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered increased compensation for Vila Pump <br />Company for water tap installations from $370.00 to $450.00 per tap. <br />Administrative Services Director Bob Joyce told the Bold that Bill <br />Vila's contract has not been revised since its inception several <br />years ago. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the increase for <br />9 <br />
