After some discussion commissioner Reives moved <br />to leave the meeting time, date and place for regular meetings as <br />originally scheduled, a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After discussion it was decided to change the first meeting in <br />January, 1994, from the 3rd to the 4th at 9:00 A.M. <br />The Board considered a resolution authorizing conversion of <br />annual vacation leave to sick leave. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle and <br />County Manager William Cowan answered questions of the Board. After <br />much discussion Commissioner Reives moved to approve a resolution <br />authorizing conversion of annual vacation leave to sick leave for <br />County employees. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: Dossenbach, Paschal, Stafford and Wicker <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been defeated by a four to <br />three vote. <br />The Board considered a resolution recognizing contributions made <br />by certain existing industries in Lee County. Administrative <br />Services Director Bob Joyce supplied the Board with a list of <br />industries that have grown by more than $50,000,000 in 1993 by the <br />construction of buildings and the purchase of land and equipment. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the resolution recognizing <br />contributions made by these industries in Lee County. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proposed increase in Environmental Health <br />Fees and establishment of an additional Environmental Health <br />7 <br />
