01? <br />BouK r15 onf~ 525 <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairperson invited the Planning Board Members to join the <br />commissioners for the joint public hearings. Mr. Bob Joyce, Interim <br />Planning Director and Ms. Leisa Powell, Planner, presented the <br />following: <br />A. Petition by Ralph Hall to rezone from Residential <br />Agricultural District to Light Industrial Conditional Use District <br />approximately 5.73 acres of land located at 2816 Kentrywood Farm Road <br />for the location of a sewing operation which would manufacture water <br />filters. <br />Mr. Ralph Hall of 804 Cox Maddox Road and Ms. Deborah <br />Shackelford of 2814 Kentrywood Farm Road spoke in favor of the <br />request. <br />Mr. J. D. Weathington of 2812 Kentrywood Farm Road and Mr. Mike <br />Gaster of 2848 Kentrywood Farm Road spoke in opposition to the <br />request. <br />B. Petition by Lloyd Atkins to rezone from Residential <br />Agricultural District to Residential Restricted District <br />approximately 104 acres of land located on the southern side of Deep <br />River Road adjoining the eastern boundary of the existing Doe Run <br />Subdivision. <br />Mr. Lloyd Atkins of 8801 Deep River Road spoke in favor of the <br />request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />C. Public hearing to consider the adoption of the <br />Watershed Protection Ordinance of Lee County. No one spoke in favor <br />or against the request. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the Watershed Protection <br />Ordinance of Lee County. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearings. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />12 <br />
