Standing Committees <br />Section 1: The chairperson shall appoint Board members to the <br />following standing committees: <br />a) Finance Committee <br />-Duties include reviewing Health Department fee <br />schedules, receipts, debits, accounts receivable, annual <br />budget, the annual county audit and submitting <br />appropriate written reports in concert with the Health <br />Director to the full Board in a timely manner. <br />b) Executive committee <br />-Duties include proposing Health Depar'tment'-,policies. <br />Consider long-range policies and objectives for the <br />Board. <br />c) Personnel Committee <br />-Duties include evaluating the Health Director's job <br />performance. Evaluating Health Department personnel <br />needs. <br />Article VII. Standing Committees <br />Section 1: The Board shall meet at least quarterly or more <br />frequently as determined by a schedule approved by the Board during <br />the first meeting of the calendar year. The chairperson or three <br />of the members may call a special meeting. <br />Section 2: At any regular meeting of the Board of Health, the <br />following shall be the regular order of business: <br />A. Call to order <br />B. Minutes of the preceding meeting <br />C. New business <br />D. Reports <br />E. Other business <br />F. Announcement of next meeting <br />G. Adjournment <br />Each formal action of the Board of Health required by law or any <br />other rule or regulations shall be embodied in a formal resolution <br />duly entered in full upon the Minute Book after any affirmative <br />vote as provided in Article VIII hereof. <br />Section 3: If a Board of Health member has three consecutive <br />absences, the Board of Health will review that member's absences to <br />determine if they are with just cause. The Board, upon review, <br />could determine to forward the member's attendance record to the <br />Board of County Commissioners for possible application of Article <br />II, Section 6. <br />
