R <br />008 <br />A5 ;err 55 1 <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered authorization to request conveyance of the <br />Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Building and adjoining property from <br />the City of Sanford to the County of Lee. County Attorney K. R. <br />Hoyle explained to the Board the City of Sanford is considering <br />conveying the old City Hall to a historic preservation society. The <br />Rescue Squad and EMS are housed in a building which is situated on <br />land owned by the City of Sanford. After some discussion <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to authorize the County Manager to work <br />with the City of Sanford on acquiring the property and bring back to <br />the Board for further discussion. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to adjourn the meeting.
