Coca 1~ }s=_ 563 007 <br />of buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the abandonment of Secondary Road No. 1482 would not <br />affect the travel of the general public but would allow for the <br />expansion of the industrial base in Lee County and would be in the <br />best interest of the people of Lee County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR <br />LEE COUNTY that it requests the Board of Transportation to abandon <br />Secondary Road No. 1482 of the Secondary Road System in Lee County. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Tax Releases and Refunds for November and <br />December, 1993. Commissioner Robert Reives moved to approve the <br />November and December, 1993, Tax Releases and Refunds. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from the Tax Administrator for <br />consulting work on existing revaluation software in the Tax Office <br />which will cost $4,000.00. Appraisal Roger Kelly was present and <br />explained to the Board the need for this work. After some discussion <br />Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the forty (40) hours of <br />consulting work, ten (10) hours at a time, for existing revaluation <br />of software for the Tax Office. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Operational By-Laws for the Lee County <br />Transportation Advisory Board. Mrs. Debbie Davidson, Administrative <br />Assistant from Senior Services explained the By-Laws with the Board <br />and answered questions. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the <br />Operational By-Laws for the Lee County Transportation Advisory Board. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />7 <br />
