aa-3 <br />~ooK ~ 15 Fps: 5~3 <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairperson Matthews discussed with the Board plans for County <br />Government week which will be observed April 16-23, 1994. She <br />appointed the following individuals to work on a Committee: Leisa <br />Powell, Pam Adams, Warren Lee, Mike Matochik, Gaynell Beal and County <br />Manager William Cowan. She outlined some suggestions she would like <br />to see done that week. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle discussed with the Board termination <br />of unit ownership for the third floor of the Wilrik Building. The <br />Board of Education currently owns the third floor of the Wilrik <br />Building. After some discussion, commissioner Wicker moved to <br />approve termination of unit ownership of the third floor of the <br />Wilrik Building by the Board of Education, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Library Trustee <br />Board. County Manager William Cowan told the Board that Ms. Rosetta <br />McIver had resigned from the Library Board of Trustees due to <br />relocation out-of-town and someone needed to be appointed in her <br />place. After some discussion Commissioner Reives moved to defer the <br />matter until the next meeting. County Manager William Cowan told the <br />Board the Committee would, for the present, study the feasibility of <br />coordination and teamwork among Central Carolina Community College <br />Learning Resource Center, Lee County Schools and the Lee County <br />Library in purchasing and sharing computer systems and information <br />data bases and services. After much discussion Commissioner Reives <br />moved to ask Central Carolina Community College, Lee County School <br />5 <br />
