egos ~ 15 F~:~ = 5'7~ MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FEBRUARY 21, 1994 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, February 21, 1994, in the Commissioner's Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Commissioners F. Hubert Garner; Bertha L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioners John R. Dossenbach, Jr. and Robert T. Reives were absent. Chairperson Matthews presided and the following business was transacted: Commissioner Hubert Garner delivered the invocation. The following individuals will be responsible for delivering the invocation for the upcoming monthly meetings: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle April, 1994 Commissioner Ed Paschal May, 1994 Commissioner Gordon Wicker June, 1994 Commissioner Bert Matthews July, 1994 Commissioner William Stafford, Jr. August, 1994 Commissioner Robert Reives September, 1994 Commissioner Jack Dossenbach, Jr. October, 1994 Commissioner Hubert Garner November, 1994 County Manager William Cowan December, 1994 The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the regular February 7, 1994, Board of Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered approval of the agenda. Chairperson 1
