nv 15 rr,e~ 602 <br />The Board considered Tax Refunds and Releases for January, 1994. <br />Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman was present and answered questions <br />of the Board. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the Tax Refunds <br />and Releases for January, 1994. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered dates for the 1994 Board of Equalization & <br />Review. After some discussion it was the general consensus of the <br />Board to be sworn in at the May 2, 1994, meeting and to discuss <br />meeting dates at a later time. <br />The Board considered a bid received for the Landfill Trash <br />Compactor. Public Works Director Bobby Johnson told the Board only <br />one bid was received for this piece of equipment from Road Machinery <br />Services, Inc. for $5,005.00. Commissioner Reives moved to reject <br />the bid and keep the landfill trash compactor. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 03/21/94/14. Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter answered questions of the Board. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approved budget amendment # 03/21/94/14. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a contract with David M. Griffith & <br />Associates to prepare a cost allocation plan. County Manager William <br />Cowan told the Board that David M. Griffith & Associates have, for <br />the past several years, prepared the central services cost allocation <br />plan which is used to get federal and/or state reimbursements on some <br />grants. It is now time to have a new plan completed and the contract <br />can be renewed by April 30, 1994, for a fee of $4,000.00. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve a contract with David M. <br />008 <br />8 <br />
