Finance Director.Lisa Minter explained to the Board the <br />need for this Ordinance. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve an <br />Ordinance for the School Construction Project, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the current Lee County Water Supply Plan. <br />Dixon-Gibson & Associates had been authorized in November, 1993, to <br />provide this water supply plan for Lee County which is required by <br />G.S. 143-355. Mr. Ed Peele from Dixon-Gibson & Associates answered <br />questions of the Board. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the <br />current Lee County Water Supply Plan, a copy of which is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from Kiwanis Club of Sanford to <br />pay for one-half of unanticipated cost of the Kiwanis Family Park <br />Greenway Project. Parks & Recreation Director Bob Dowless was <br />present and told the Board that unanticipated costs in the completion <br />of the Kiwanis Family Park Greenway was $4,655.92. The Kiwanis Club <br />of Sanford had agreed to pay one-half of these charges ($2,327.96). <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to accept the Kiwanis Club of Sanford's <br />request to pay one-half of the unanticipated cost of $2,327.96.
